Fairy World - Ida Outhwaite was born in 1888 and held her first exhibition in 1916 during World War I. She began illustrating for magazines, short stories, and greeting cards while still a schoolgirl. Her work was widely known and loved, and the delicate grace and great decorative qualities of her illustrations endure to this day.
